  Whitings

While living in Panama in 1996-1997, Brent Whiting and his family of 4 children became close friends with Daniel Galvez. Through recent contact with the Galvez family, the Whitings suggested a scholarship/sponsor program for Legacy School be implemented to increase attendance at the school, giving more impoverished children a chance at a better future.

In the fall of 2007, Brent and Laurie Whiting, their son Andrew, and 15 others participated in a service project in San Martin Jilotepeque, which, among other things, kicked off the scholarship/sponsor program for Legacy School.
