I'm 16 years old. My parents are Oscar and Maria Patzan. I have 2 brothers and a sister. The reason I need a scholarship is because I am very scarce on resources and my father suffered a stroke and lost his ability to speak. Therefore he's unable to work. In my freetime I work helping my mother with the expenses of our family. If it weren't for a scholarship, I wouldn't be able to continue studying. One of my biggest dreams is to graduate and be able to be a professional and be able to better help my family.
