The reason for this note is because I need a scholarship. I live in San Martin Jilotepeque. My parents are responsible people and have helped me throughout my life to make things good for me. My Dad's name is Braulio Rivera and he is a farmer. He grows Corn and Beans. My mom is a homemaker and takes care of all the household affairs. She also takes care of my grandma who is very sick. I have 5 brothers and sisters. We all help my dad in the fields with the crops. Despite all of our work, we don't have enough money to study. I haven't been to school for a couple of years because my little brother got cancer in his right eye. My parents spent a lot of money on his medical bills and they had to travel in to Guatemala City almost everyday. I dropped out of school and haven't been able to study until this possible opportunity arose. I will work hard to graduate in accounting. That is what I want to study. With your help and  the help of God, I know that I can do it.
