Background:

Odilia loves to play soccer and read. Her father is a farmer and her mother stays home to take care fo the family. She is the 4th of 8 children, with 3 sisters and 4 brothers. Her older brothers have only studied through 6th grade, making her the first in her family to study beyond that level. She lives out of town, requiring her to travel on a bus 35 minutes to and from school each day. She is determined to finish high schools so she can go on to a university--already a goal of hers.
