My name is Oscar Humberto Patzan. My Dad went to the United States and died shortly after arriving there. He left a wife, 6 kids, and his Deaf/Mute Mother behind. My mother has been left to take care of everything. My older sister helps my mom around the house and tends the younger kids. I am the second oldest and I'm in 9th grade. I have very good grades, but my family is very poor. Besides, my mom has to pay off the debt that my dad incurred to travel to the US. I want to continue studying but my mom doesn't have a salary to be able to pay my way. She works hard looking for work everyday, doing laundry cleaning houses or whatever she can. We try to help her by planting seeds for food here at home in our garden.

I want to continue studying computers. I love to study. I promise that I will do my very best if you give me the chance to study. I feel bad about the death of my father but I trust in God that he will help through this trial.
